Where is Jamaica?
Jamaica is an island in the Caribbean, situated between North America and South America, below Cuba (Figure 1).

Jamaica is on the opposite side of the map compared to the Philippines. It takes approximately one whole day (over 20 hours) by flight to get to Jamaica from the Philippines.
​
Jamaica is a very small island compared to the Philippines. It is almost the size of Mindoro (Figure 2).

The Capital of Jamaica is Kingston, here is where most of the Filipinos reside. Filipinos are also in St. Catherine, Manchester, Westmoreland, St. James (Montego Bay), St. Ann (Ocho Rios), and Portland.
